Here are some pictures of "Jemaki", she needs quite a bit of work doing to the interior but I was looking for a project so am quite happy with the task in hand. I bought the boat locally from a friend of mine who owns The Electric Boat Co. in Penrith, he bought the boat from Viscount Hugh Lowther (who is next in line to become Earl Lowther when his father Lord Lonsdale passes on). As my friend only wanted the engine - the boat and trailer were surplus to requirements, so for the princely sum of £300 I suddenly found myself the proud owner of my namesake and my first ever boat!. As you can see she needs a bit of "fettling" up as they say in these parts, I have made a start on her and will keep you posted on her progress
